Reunion Island

I'm from Reunion Island, which is a French Oversea Department. A small island between Madagascar and Mauritius.

There is few things you need to know about your future travel to Reunion Island.

Come enjoy the heat and the sun with your family or friends near the ocean, around the whole island but it is only the west side where  you can really appreciate a swim (if there is no warning sharks, of course), enjoy a picnic with a good sandwich or the Sunday grilled Chicken that you can find on your way to the beach.

Le Piton des Neiges is the volcano who built the Island, followed by Le Piton de la Fournaise who is still active. Around the main volcano who is non active, you will find three circus, not the entertainment one, Mafate (this one you can visit only walking, there is no road to get there), Cilaos and Salazie.

So if you like hiking, biking, canyoning? It's not the activities that are missing in this mountains. Lots of beautiful places to discover hiding from everyone, like the waterfalls or the rivers.

This is the first time that I do a Blog, I'll try to do my best.

I'm French girl but I will wright my blog in English to keep practicing. I apologize in advance if there is some mistakes. If you are English speaking and you see something that it is not grammatically correct let me know, I will appreciate.

I lived in the United Kingdom for nearly two years and the question I heard several times from them was : "Where are you from?" and their answer were every time the same : "Never heard!" or "Where is it?".  So for all of you, there is my blog about Reunion Island.
